Star Trek & The NBA Playoffs

What's good everyone?

First off, Happy Mother's Day to all the moms. Now on to the blog......


Yesterday, I went to the mall to see the new Star Trek movie. Now, let me start by saying I hated Star Trek, the Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, etc. I never even watched the old movies that came out. I thought Star Trek was the shittiest thing ever; just too boring and lame.
Now, when I saw the latest trailer for Star Trek, I thought to myself, "Damn, this actually looks pretty good." When I saw the actual movie, the "good" became "great." Just the perfect mix of action, adventure and humor. It got me thinkin': Will there be a No. 2? If there is, I'll definitely watch it.......


Anyone that knows me will tell you that I'm a big sports fan. I usually have ESPN on all the time, but it gets boring when they talk too much about A-Rod and steroids. I look at the NBA playoffs, and you can tell that everyone is praying that there's a Cavs/Lakers final. Think about it: LeBron James vs. Kobe Bryant. Who wouldn't wanna see it? Two great players battling for the Championship. As much as those 2 are great players, I would rather see Celtics/Lakers again, seeing that my Celtics won the title last year, but that's not likely with K.G. out. Give the people what they want i guess: 2008 MVP vs. 2009 MVP.
